Norwegian artist Sunni aka Sassy 009 started out on SoundCloud in 2015. She was born to classically-trained musicians, but Sassy’s sound is rooted in electronics that echo rave culture of the past, the present and the future. Her third single this year, ‘Mystery Boy’, has landed. It sees a ridiculously catchy vocal melody laid over production that’s perfectly crisp and murky in all the right measures. Wormy synths sway in and out of tune over a crunchy beat whilst the track dips in and out of ethereal mistiness. ‘Mystery Boy’ is definitely worth checking out. -Ellie Rose-Davies
